Which one to be fulfilled, your internal or external world?
Mr. Inamori, as he spent some time in his life as a Buddhism monk, mentioned in Kyocera philosophy that we should complete our lives with the mind as pure as possible. This article demonstrates Mr. Inamori’s idea and why he stresses this principle. I would also like to refer a Japanese famous Tarot fortune teller as she has been encouraging her clients to conduct the best practice of this: purify your mindset and to maintain such attitudes. In this column, I would like to compare those two and demonstrate you what is the key for the success of our life.
Q : What did Mr. Inamori exactly mention about the key of our life fulfillment?
A: In order for us to feel the fulfilment of our lives, seek to purify our anima, which has been referred to as “The part of the psyche which is directed inwards, in touch with the subconscious.(Oxford dictionary).” This already appears in Indian Veda, the holly bible of Hindi, in almost 3000 years ago. The success of our lives is secured by how pure your anima is not by what your action is. Therefore, Mr. Inamori repeatedly encourages us to follow this idea: maintain our soul as pure as possible.
Q: What does that fortune teller say about the fulfillment?
A: Her name is Noriko Morita and Noriko also says that our soul has already known how we can get fulfilled in our lives.
Q: For example, how has she been releasing her idea?
A: For instance, when her client, a lady in her forties whishing to get married asks her whether or not she can have a happy marriage life, she immediately answered “No, you can’t.” “Simply because…” she continued, “ you are only looking for someone who can make you happy. You are relying only on someone else for your own fulfillment Furthermore, you are unintentionally judging a guy in front of you just by the idea if he benefits you or not.” She also highlights “If you asked me whether or not you can make a guy in front of you happy, I would say yes you can. If you asked me how to make him happy, I can provide you with tips on how to fulfill your partner. However, as long as you seek the source of your fulfillment towards outside, you would never get fulfilled.” Some do not pay much attention to “fortune telling” and find advice from those tellers to be less important. However, as we have perceived, two person, Mr. Inamori and Noriko have been telling us the same thing: you are the only person who can fulfill you and make yourself happy.
Q: What are those two people, Mr. Inamori and Noriko have had in their mind as a shared value?
A: The source of fulfillment should be looked for inside you, not outside. Many people are obsessed with ideas ”Having a status, title, and fortune gives you satisfaction in both physically and mentally.” However, such idea never fulfills you. Ultimately you will feel fulfilled just simply because you have pure soul. Noriko also says not to seek your fulfillment to your partner, acting for how to make your partner happy is the only way for you to live in richness of your anima.
Q: What are the difference of two, Mr. Inamori and Noriko?
A: They are just taking different approaches to point out the truth: Explore yourself, not outside, not the world surrounding you, only your inner mental dimension would lead you to enlightenment.
Q: What is the lesson learned from this article?
A: Consider well others’ happiness, benefit and fulfilment, conduct what you believe make others happy, so that we can ultimately enrich our own lives.
